From the moment you arrive at Summerset St Johns, the sense of quiet luxury is unmistakable. A softly illuminated grand staircase anchors the foyer. The ground floor cafe and reception space layered in creams, velvet golds and sophisticated greys are a welcoming and elegant introduction to a village designed to feel both elevated and at ease.
Designed To Fit
Several new products were introduced to suit the flow, palette, and layout of each space. In the café, the Kone Dual Pedestal Table was finished with a custom stone top and central base, offering generous movement and a clean architectural presence. A single pedestal version with a circular timber top is also used in the same area, creating a mix of settings for different group sizes while maintaining a cohesive look.
Upstairs in the dining room, the newly designed Cosmo Chair brings warmth and softness through rich, textured upholstery while supporting upright, comfortable dining. Other tailored pieces included the Petra 3 Seater and Petra Ottoman, introduced as complementary additions to the popular Petra Chair.
Tailored Solutions, Thoughtfully Delivered
As the primary furniture supplier, Acorn partnered with Y-6 to furnish key spaces throughout both the village and care centre. From the light filled foyer, to cafe, lounges, library, theatre, dining areas and care rooms, each area was carefully considered - furnished to support comfort, connection and day-to-day functionality.
Our role was to ensure each piece was aligned with the overall design intent while meeting the needs of retirement and aged care environments. With a focus on durability, elegance and spatial cohesion, we delivered a full suite of furniture solutions that elevates the experience for residents and visitors alike.

Summerset St Johns’ care rooms are furnished for both comfort and function, with pieces that support daily living while creating a sense of calm.
Offered in both light and dark finish schemes, cabinets and dressers from our Juni Collection feature rounded solid timber legs and melamine-matched surfaces. The result is a refined, cohesive look with softened edges that are well suited to aged care.
Our Aura recliners, upholstered in easy-clean yet comfortable fabrics, provide everyday support while blending seamlessly into each room’s palette.

Acorn managed the full delivery and installation across all furnished spaces at Summerset St Johns. Our in-house team ensured every piece was placed with care and precision, ready for immediate use.
