Peakviews Clubhouse sits within a boutique retirement village in Hawke’s Bay, positioned between Hastings and Havelock North. Acting as the social heart of the village, it brings together communal spaces that support connection, daily living, and shared use within a relaxed residential setting.
Developed in collaboration with Suzy Martin of MAHO Interiors, the furniture collection was curated to support a cohesive and familiar residential environment across these shared spaces. The intent was to balance consistency in material and form with softness in expression, creating interiors that feel settled, approachable, and enduring.
New Product & Materiality
Peakviews Clubhouse is the first project to feature the Cooper Side Chair and Aalto Tub Chair, both launched through this project. These pieces extend the Acorn Furniture range into softer residential applications, designed to sit naturally within shared dining and communal environments.
Alongside this, Acorn Furniture’s new Oak finish in Original is introduced across dining tables and seating. This expands specification flexibility while introducing an oak base that sits at the same price point as ash. The finish reinforces the residential character of the interior without altering budget structure or design intent.
Furniture Composition
A signature-led selection forms the foundation of the clubhouse interior, bringing together established Acorn pieces to create continuity across dining and lounge spaces. The Emery Tub Chair, Braden Wingback Chair and Armer Dining Table establish a consistent material and design language throughout.
Each piece was chosen for its residential familiarity, supporting a relaxed village setting where comfort, proportion, and ease of use define the experience. The result is a cohesive interior that feels grounded, intuitive, and naturally lived-in without relying on excess detail or formality.
On-Site Installation
Acorn Furniture’s in-house logistics team managed full delivery and installation of the furniture package, including on-site placement and packaging removal of all Acorn-supplied items, ensuring the clubhouse was handed over complete and ready for use.
