Metlifecare Somervale may be small in scale, but it delivers a strong sense of connection and calm. This light, coastal-inspired village is shaped by soft curves and thoughtful design. Acorn Furniture worked in collaboration with Urban Lounge to supply furniture used throughout the shared spaces. From the custom Kingsview modular sofa in the entrance to a tailored Alpine Bench Seats, our focus was on warm materiality, gentle forms, and everyday comfort that fits seamlessly into the community’s rhythm.
A Signature Welcome With A Custom Kingsview Modular
At the heart of the entry space is a large custom Kingsview modular sofa, designed to offer both comfort and presence. Its soft curves help shape the room, while its size and finish make it a natural point of connection for residents and visitors. This piece signals the costal tone of Somervale right from the start — relaxed and community-driven.
Crafting Calm Through Material and Form
Somervale’s interiors called for furniture that felt effortless and inviting. Acorn’s contribution included curved silhouettes and natural timber finishes that aligned with the project’s coastal, modern aesthetic. In the dining area, Juni tables bring that vision to life with gently rounded corners, dowel legs, and melamine tops for everyday durability. Along one wall, Alpine Bench Seats with high backs introduce a subtle banquet-style layout, offering structure and warmth while encouraging shared connection.
