Setting a new standard for private surgical care in Hawkes Bay, Kaweka Hospital offers innovative hospital facilities paired with sleek and functional furniture for patients and staff alike.
The design of the hospital, and all furniture choices, needed to be suitable for a wide range of users, including children, bariatric and elderly patients. Durability and quality were also a priority. In order to achieve this, we created bespoke products to meet functionality requirements, whilst maintaining consistency in look and quality across the facility.
Process & Suppliers
Being the primary supplier of furniture across the facility, Acorn worked closely with Tracey from HDT Architecture, and Anouk and Nick from Kaweka, throughout the process to best utilise various spaces.
We created renders of all products in the fabrics specified by HDT to assist in the design process, and took care of the install and furniture placement.
